Enjoy the FUN FLOAT along the Red River at Red RiverFest 2025. This Scenic section of river is around 7.5 miles (~4hr). The Fun float launches from Copperas Canoe Launch and ends at Red River Gorge Kayaking (event location). Participants will paddle along the beautiful and tame middle section of the Red River, a journey that will immerse them in the beauty of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The paddle is perfect for a relaxing day with fellow paddlers on the water with the safety of event partners, Powell County & Wolfe County Search & Rescues on site. If you haven’t paddled the Red River it is worth a try! Participants will meet at Red River Gorge Kayaking (394 Sky Bridge Rd, Stanton, KY 40380), and will then be shuttled to the canoe launch. The float will end back at Red River Gorge Kayaking. Come for Red RiverFest and stay for the whole weekend to enjoy all that the RRG has to offer. See all that the Red River has to offer from headwaters to the Kentucky River confluence.
