10th Annual Wild & Scenic Red RiverFest - FREE EVENT
will take place on 5/16/26 at Red River Gorge Kayaking (394 Sky Bridge Rd, Stanton, KY 40380). The family friendly event includes incredible FREE live music, kids & adult activities, yoga, clean water workshops (including Watershed Watch Habitat/Biological Assessment training!), food & drink vendors (including West 6th) and more! Fun environmental education programming is available at the Clean Water event tent and you can win prizes for participating! This event is FREE thanks to our wonderful sponsors. Become a Kentucky Watershed Watch Sampler!
In-person sampler training will be happening at Red RiverFest from 10:30am-12:30pm. Sign up HERE. Registration and an online pre-training are required. More information can be found on the Kentucky Watershed Watch website.
Kentucky Watershed Watch is a volunteer organization where citizens can sample streams in their areas. Their data is uploaded to an online database where results are stored and can be easily viewed. This information can be used to determine stream quality over time and to help narrow down which areas are of greatest concern!
